This Refunds & Returns Policy applies to purchases made through karga.com.au and is operated by Karga Lab Pty Ltd. This policy outlines how refunds, returns, repairs, and replacements are handled and how your rights under Australian Consumer Law apply.

AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS

Change of mind returns for complete bicycles are accepted within fourteen (14) days of delivery only if the bicycle is unused and shows no signs of riding or wear. Bicycles that have been ridden outdoors, show tyre wear, cosmetic damage, assembly marks, or signs of use are not eligible for change of mind returns. Bicycles must be returned in original packaging. Bicycles returned with signs of use cannot be resold as new and therefore cannot be accepted for change of mind returns.

Change of mind returns for accessories and non-bike items are accepted within fourteen (14) days of delivery provided the item is unused and returned in original packaging.

FAULTY OR DAMAGED ITEMS

If an item is faulty, damaged, or does not meet a consumer guarantee, please contact us as soon as possible. We may request photographs, video evidence, assessment by a qualified professional, or return of the item for inspection. Where a fault is confirmed, we will provide a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

WHAT IS NOT CONSIDERED A FAULT

Damage caused by misuse, crashes, overloading, neglect, unauthorised modifications, incorrect assembly, or failure to follow care or service instructions is not considered a fault. Normal wear and tear, including tyres, brake pads, chains, and grips, is not considered a fault. Minor cosmetic variations that do not affect performance are not considered faults.

RETURN SHIPPING

If an item is faulty under Australian Consumer Law, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs. For change of mind returns, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Original shipping fees are not refundable for change of mind returns.
